There are a number of subgroups that specialise in specific modules or areas of interest. Some of the subgroups meet on a regular basis to discuss requirements for their particular specialist areas as well as swapping ideas and concerns, others are formed for short periods as the need arises. They collectively put forward enhancement requests to SirsiDynix. We are always happy to help new subgroups if you feel there is a need to discuss a particular module or specialist area. Most of the active subgroup members are using Unicorn or Symphony systems, though Horizon users are always welcome.
If you are a Horizon user, please let us know if you are aware of Horizon subgroups out there. COSI are happy to support subgroups where we can by giving them webspace to advertise meetings and host the minutes of their meetings. Please note however, this facility will only be seen by our members. So while you do not need to be a member to join a subgroup, you will need to be a member of COSI to view any minutes or meeting announcements. There is currently no charge to join COSI.
